Our Background

Our historical operating background dates back to 1978, when international pharmaceutical distribution across Latin America depended on handwritten documentation, telex communications, long-distance coordination, and trusted professional relationships.

One of our earliest consignments involved a cold-temperature shipment packed in insulated gel-ice containers and routed from Boston to Mexico City aboard Pan American World Airways, before onward transfer to Bogotá.

Building on its foundation in specialized medicines, PanAmFarma expanded into India-based pharmaceutical manufacturing, developed international collaborations through London-based pharmaceutical channels, acquired Mexican distribution capabilities, and completed a strategic reorganization in 2022 to strengthen its presence across Latin America.
